How You Can Help

No matter what your resources are, you can help us kick trash in some way!

Attend our next cleanup event!

We Need:

People Power in Tampa Bay:  Any volunteers willing to contribute to the cause of cleaning up litter, whether inside one of our targeted cleanups or not, will be provided with supplies to make cleanup safer, and more efficient.  A number of people are taking it upon themselves to clean stretches of road by themselves and we would like to connect with them, get their unique input on the local litter problem, and most importantly provide them cleanup and safety supplies.  It's already so impressive that some people are out cleaning up other people's messes for free, they certainly shouldn't have to pay to do it.  In addition to more elbow grease, we could use a few more smartie arties to join our team designing new tools to collect litter and clean water.  You'll be working for free like the rest of us, but this is an important project and this team isn't messing around.

Funds:  At this stage we mainly need money for actual cleanup supplies in bulk.  Trash bags, gloves, litter sticks, grabbers, high visibility vests, hats, sunscreen, drinking water, and county dumping fees.  Additional funds are needed to continue work on an electric wheelchair for efficient collection along bike paths and sidewalks.  Funds are needed to research low cost methods of nutrient reduction in fresh and salt water.  At this stage, basically all administrative costs are being paid out of pocket by our board of directors.

Spread The Word:  We need press.  We need word of mouth.  We need everyone who might want to come out and help us to hear about us!  So even if you can't help clean up, and even if you can't donate.....You can tell someone that we're out here cleaning!  Liking and Following Us on Social Media is helpful and the links are right below.  If not being able to volunteer is just a matter of time, join our newsletter.  We won't sell or share your email with anyone, ever.  Without any exception.  We won't send you junk.  We'll only let you know about cleanups that are happening in Central Florida.
