Just For Fun / Help Your Community!: For anyone looking to volunteer without a specific program need, Waste Limited could use your help.  Extra spaces are always available at our "First Sunday" litter cleanup events without any prior notice or commitment.  Our events page will show you what we have coming up over the next 1-2 months.  You can always email Work@wastelimited.com for info on other spontaneous volunteer opportunities.

Student Hours (Bright Futures, IB, College Programs):  Waste Limited can supervise volunteer hours for basically any academic program.  These programs usually require the school's program advisor to signoff beforehand, so make sure you have their approval.  Our volunteer program for students could be as simple as accumulating Bright Futures hours by showing up to most of our public cleanup events.  This would be a good option for someone who is starting volunteering as a freshman and otherwise has a busy schedule, since it only takes a few hours each month.  On the flip side, if someone was a junior or senior, with no hours yet, we could work with them to design a program that would get their hours before graduation.  Where, when and what you would volunteer doing is relatively flexible.  You could pick up litter, help us design on site recycling programs, conduct research into water pollution, aid our social media campaigns, help organize one of our fundraisers and everything in between.

Workplace Volunteering:  Waste Limited can work with employers to arrange company wide volunteer events using their employees.  For example several employees from the same company might be assigned the cleanup of a certain park over a certain day or period.

Community Service Hours (Court):  Waste Limited can supervise community service hours as part of a court order.

​

​

Specific Volunteers Needed:  Waste Limited could use the help of attorneys, accountants, biologists, chemists, contractors, engineers, EMTs (anyone with first aid experience).
